Austrian Haus Lodge - West Dover

The pool and sauna at Austrian Haus Lodge were excellent, perfect for relaxing after a long day of skiing. The breakfast offered a nice variety of cereal and instant oatmeal. The communal area had great amenities like wifi, games, and comfortable furniture. The innkeepers were friendly and kept the place very clean.

The rooms were in need of updating and maintenance. The TV hardly worked and the sink looked like it was about to fall off the wall.

Breakfast was missing.

We got great value for our money at the Austrian Haus Lodge. The room may not have been fancy, but it was comfortable and had a surprisingly good quality small old TV. The location was perfect, close to Mount Snow and a 7-11, and the staff were very nice and accommodating.

The only thing that could make the breakfast better is the selection of pastries.

Despite a few minor cleanliness issues in the bathroom, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and convenient ski vacation.

However, the biggest downside for us was that there was no WIFI in the rooms, which we were not prepared for. It would have been helpful to have known this beforehand. while there were some positive aspects, the lack of maintenance and amenities made our stay less enjoyable.

The hotel definitely needs some updating and maintenance. The rooms were small and the walls were paper thin, so we could hear our neighbors on both sides and below us.

The value for money at the Austrian Haus Lodge was excellent. The room, though dated, was clean and reminded me of cozy ski lodges from the 80s. The location was perfect, just minutes away from restaurants, bars, and Mount Snow. The owners were hospitable, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and even offering vegetarian dinner options upon request. The indoor pool was a hit with the kids, and we definitely plan on coming back!

The location of this hotel was absolutely perfect for our romantic escape. We were able to easily access all the main attractions and activities in the area. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, the rooms were clean and comfortable, providing us with a cozy and relaxing atmosphere.

We did find that some areas of the hotel were in need of renovation. The facilities were a bit outdated, and there were a few maintenance issues that needed to be addressed.
